Rob Lund
During Rob’s career, he has served in varied leadership capacities and industries, including engineering, technical sales, real estate, professional consulting and operational management. Rob began an engineering career with what is now known as the Bayer Corporation as a project engineer, later moving in the same capacity for Phillips Petroleum. From project engineering, Rob moved into sales, selling technical equipment to consulting engineers and engineers in industrial facilities in a 150 mile radius of the Kansas City area. Rob’s professional experience has also included the co-ownership and operation of a consulting engineering business, where Rob served as Vice President of the Validation and Technical Field group. Involved in the daily operation of the company, Rob was charged with the growing of the business by hiring qualified personnel, sales and marketing of these services. Rob and his two partners were able to grow the company from just three people to forty-seven in five years.
Prior to joining TFG, Rob has been involved with the sales, leasing, marketing, management and development of commercial real estate in eastern Jackson County and northern Cass County. This has included the management of 10 multi-office locations, the development and ownership of 3 multi-office complexes and two retail sites.
Rob is involved in community service, as active member of Lee’s Summit Sunrise Rotary, the Lee’s Summit Economic Development Council, the Independence Council of Economic Development. Rob is also former President of the Jackson County Planning Commission.
Rob received his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
